• Rigid unibody structure
Integrating the slant X-axis design, the 3-point suspension for Y axis, and the Z axis with 6 roller-type LM blocks, the M2 series of machining center provides excellent feed performance. The high-torque 2-axis table which incorporates OTT-type worm gear makes possible heavy duty 5-axis machining.
• High-performance high-speed spindle
The spindle integrates the motor to limit vibration, noise, and power loss at high speed rotation. The jet of oil is injected directly onto the spindle bearing for effective cooling, and the motor and the spindle assembly are jacket-cooled to limit the displacement caused by heat. To achieve greater precision, the spindle constantly monitors for possible thermal displacement and makes necessary adjustment in real time.
• High-precision feed drive
The feed drive is coupled directly without any medium to transfer the power, naturally minimizing the backlash during traverse. The double ball bearings have been used at the time of manufature to preload tensions in the ball screw assembly--this minimizes the heat torsion which might occur from hours of operation. The machine is equipped with the linear scale on its 3 linear axes and 2 rotating axes to guarantee precision machining for hours.

The easy-to-use Hwacheon NC software components diagnose the variables in different working conditions and machining environment to make optimal adjustments, to deliver quality and productivity.
